Once a year we head off to the country and spend a week teaching our favourite dances to a group of HF Holiday guests.
We always have a great time and teach about 40 dances during the week. Every year we introduce 10 new dances and you can see from the lists below that we get around! |

2007 marked the 25th year that the Steventon family have lead HF Holidays’ International Folk Dancing holiday. Steve and Joy began the holidays in Newquay in 1982 after demonstrating some international dances on Friday night at the end of a walking holiday. The next generation took over in 1999 when Phil and Brenda went to St. Ives. |

For beginners and for those with some knowledge of folk dancing, this holiday includes National Folk dances from around the world that provide a great variety of steps and styles in circle, set or couple formations. There is a mix of slow, fast, simple and more difficult dances – something for everyone, of all abilities - no need to bring a partner. |
